Q. What is MyLine service?
A. MyLine has three packages to choose from and provides
customers with local and long distance service, combined with attractive
features at competitive prices. MyLine has been designed to meet
your needs for choice, convenience and personalization. Choose
a plan that truly fits your local and long distance calling

Q. Is there a switching fee when you switch
to MyLine?
A. There is no switching fee assessed to the customer's account when
changing from an Excel long distance plan to MyLine local service.
Also, there is no switching fee assessed to the customer's account, of
other local service providers, when switching to MyLine. Back

Q. How long does it take to activate my
new MyLine service?
A. Please allow up to 5-10 business days for your new MyLine
service to be activated. To check for activation or if you have

Q. Can I continue to use the voicemail
service from my previous provider after I convert to MyLine?
A. No, you cannot continue to use the voicemail from your
previous provider, but we now offer Free VoiceMail on 2 of Excel’s
packages, Myline Complete and Myline Value. Back

Q. How will I be billed for MyLine service?
A. If you are currently an Excel long distance customer, you
will receive a “final” bill when you switch your telephone number
to MyLine service – for only the long distance service. A second
bill will also be sent reflecting your new MyLine service charges.
Both bills will be prorated based on the date the change occurred. New
MyLine customers may receive a final bill from their previous local
phone service provider. This final bill may be prorated to reflect
any applicable charges from the previous service provider. Back

Q. Do I have to change my phone number?
A. It is generally not necessary for you to change your phone
number to switch to MyLine local service. However, if you move to
a new residence, a new number may be assigned. Back

Q. Can I get additional phone lines on
MyLine local service?
A. Excel wants to make it simple and affordable for you to add
an Additional MyLine. When you add an additional MyLine to
your account, we’ll automatically take $10.00 off the monthly recurring

Service for MyLine Local Services?
A. MyLine Local Customer Service is available Monday through
Saturday, 7AM to Midnight CST and Sunday, 11AM to 11PM CST

A. You should receive your first bill within 30 days
